1. The hirer needs to be at least 21 years of age, with a motor vehicle driver's license.
2. A boat operator's license is not required.
3. A deposit of $200 (low season) or $400 (high season) is required within seven (7) days to secure your booking. This can be paid over the phone.
4. The balance of hire fee is due four (4) weeks prior to departure.
5. Security Bonds. The following bonds are required for each boat. Peggy: $1000, Rebecca Sue: $1000, Katherine Hope: $2000, Chill Out Too: $2000, Sophie: $2000 and is due prior to departure and can be paid by cash or manually swiped credit card. "Bond" less fuel costs and the boat being returned in good order and clean (cost of damage and/or losses will be deducted) is refundable (by cheque or eftpos) within 10 days after the completion of hire.
6. We accept Visa, Master, and Bank cards. Payments can be made over the phone.
7. Should you cancel your booking, deposits paid are not refundable.
8. All departure & return times by prior arrangement.
9. Houseboats can be easily handled by two adults. Boat handling and operating instructions are given prior to departure (approx 1.5 hours). Information pack and chart are on board.
10. Late arrivals - due to the houseboat not being able to operate at night, we reserve the right to prevent the boats departure until the following morning.
11. The number of people (including children over 12 months) allowed on board is strictly limited to the number of berths as registered.
12. We will do all within our power to make your holiday a trouble free one, but we do not accept responsibility for loss of time due to unforeseen circumstances.
13. Charges and times may be subject to alteration without notice.
14. Sorry no pets allowed.
15. Free, secure, surveillance parking available.
16. We ask that you contact us at least 2 days prior to departure to arrange an arrival and instruction time.
17. We reserve the right to cancel or suspend a hire.
18. The hirer is totally responsible for the houseboat.
